The Joys of Condo Living!
Aug 20th, 2007 by Dan Standeven
I’m running a bit late on my post today, I apologize for that, the weekends sometimes disrupt my
schedule.
Today I decided to talk about Condo Living something I have experienced and have painstakingly lived through at times.
I am going to pass on some advice to those apartment and condo dwellers so that everyone can live Happily and peacefully.
1) Put all garbage in the bins provided, nobody wants to see your garbage on the garbage room floor. All garbage at the very least should be taken to the appropriate places not just left anywhere. And for goodness sake shut the door behind you.
2) If you spill something or your pet decides to spill something on the common area floor, pick it up. I have enough stuff to clean up, I don’t need to be cleaning up someone else’s mess.
3) If you break it, fix it, or pay someone to fix it. My condo fees shouldn’t go towards fixing a broken piece of glass or a broken mirror every 2 months.
4) If you’re going to get drunk and party till 3am, stay in your unit, nobody wants to hear you screaming at your friends in the hallway. Because guess what everyone can hear you.
5) Just because you wake up at 5am and need to vacuum your apartment or move furniture, doesn’t mean the people below you or beside you want to get up that early. come on now at the very least wait till 8am, have some respect for your neighbors
6) Don’t steal other people’s packages, I paid for FedEx to deliver me a package, just because they leave it in the common area, doesn’t mean you have the right to steal it. By the way the package had MY NAME on it.
7) Do not let your children run up and down the hallways. It sounds like a marching band has decided to take up band practice in your halls. We all know with running children comes screaming children.
8 ) If it is imperative to continuously walk around your apartment, walk on your toes not your heals. Heal walkers sound like elephants, seriously people you do know their are other people who live in the building right.
Well that is my list, I would love to hear about your apartment and condo living experiences, I plan on writing another post on this in the future, if you leave a tip I’ll be sure to add you, your website and your tip to the next post.

Maybe add, Don’t throw your old flower vase water over the balcony. IT STINKS. and doesn’t go away for a long time.
