It’s All About The Internet With Me!
Sep 19th, 2007 by Dan Standeven
I mentioned this briefly earlier this month in a post called Little Known Ways to Find That Perfect Home! where I mentioned the Internet as a convenient way to find suitable homes. I wanted to expand on this a bit and mention some other great uses of the Internet to find and search for houses.
The first great thing about using the Internet as part of your home search is you have the ability to do a ton of research on the market and homes in your area before even leaving your living room. This is a great tool to narrow down your community, house type, house price, and any other conceivable option or feature you are looking for in a home. By doing research first, you can save yourself so much time by weeding out properties you don’t want to see.
The Internet is widely used by real estate agents and almost all listings are posted somewhere online. If you are Internet savvy you can keep on top of what is newly listed on a daily basis. If you have a real estate agent who is Internet savvy, they can keep you updated on newly added listings, this is even easier.
If your online anyways search for Real Estate agents, most agents who keep up with the times will have a website, which will list their contact information, city statistics and any listings they currently have. If using the Internet is part of your strategy to find homes, make sure you have an agent that can accommodate your technical savvy.
As you can probably tell, being a blogger and a tech guy, I am very Internet savvy and believe that this is such a great tool when researching anything. Ok Ok, I know I talk about the Web all the time, so I won’t do anymore posts on it for awhile. Oh yeah before i get flamed about the Yoda comic, it has nothing to do with this post, i just thought it was funny.
