The Ultimate Shaving Kit Makes Pubic Hair Grooming a Breeze

While recently researching pubic hair shaving kits I discovered a growing phenomena among couples. The couple plans a private, romantic spa evening for themselves at home with a bubble bath, champagne, candles and flowers. After the bath, but before the bubbly, the couple takes turns helping each other groom and shave their pubic hair. I've heard stories about both men and women creating pubic hair designs for each other. This I found very intriguing because I know that pubic hair grooming has been an art since Cleopatra so I decided to find a kit and try it out for myself.

The Ultimate Shaving Kit is a pubic hair grooming kit that includes exclusive formulas - Shave, Soothe & Smooth - were designed by a woman chemist to eliminate pesky rashes, ingrown hair, bumps and itching that some people experience after they groom their pubic hair.

The kit won the "Cosmopolitan's Beauty Award for the Best Bikini-line Beautifier" when it was first introduced and quickly sold out. The creator, Judy Pfleger of Hair Care Down There, recently released new stock available for purchase on-line.

When I received The Ultimate Shaving Kit I was impressed with the cute waterproof aqua carry-all case. The case keeps the pubic hair grooming formulas and tools discreetly stored between uses and there are extra pockets if you want to add some of your own beauty supplies.

The kit includes:

* A style guide.
* The three signature products: Shave, Soothe & Smooth.
* Round-tipped safety scissors with a rubber grip.
* Lightweight and narrow cartridge razor.
* 2-sided magnifying mirror.
* Brush and comb.
* Heart and landing strip stencils and stencil pencil.
* Decorative bindi adhesive jewels to enhance your design.

Shaving your bikini line for the first time can be very scary. I read the instruction guide that explained how to use the formulas and tools and the tips and color pictures of the various styles of pubic hair grooming were very helpful.

By using the three gentle formulas made for pubic hair I discovered that I need not fear nicks, cuts or ingrown hair. The Shave, Soothe & Smooth products are a clear shaving gel (so you can see where you are shaving), a spray that prevents itching and rashes and an aloe and green tea moisturizer to keep skin smooth. These products can be reordered separately so that I restock the kit anytime.

The instructions were very easy to follow and the products did not sting or burn my skin. If you're like me you'll start out with a conservative bikini shave and progress to creative designs and bindi jewels when you grow more confident.

My fear of shaving my bikini area was completely unfounded. Hair Care Down There made it simple and safe. I highly recommend The Ultimate Shaving Kit for novices and those who are experienced in pubic hair grooming. It is wonderful to have everything you need all in one place and with a carry case that I will take with me when I travel.

i don't know what to really do with my hair anymore ( professional opinions most welcome!!) what do you tihnk?

I have light tan skin, dark brown eyes, and my natural hair color is dirty blondish. Im somewhat tan, but generally my face is pallor caucasian

I used to have the caesar haircut but some people used to say "oh i like your hair like this" on the days I would just leave my hair flat which looks horrible in my opinion. I have thin hair as well...

Any ideas?

Well I would if I were you I would just buzz my hair, guys look really good with that in my opinion. Other than that you could try growing it out long but that really never looks good.

Someone Glad someone Sad in golf decade

Biggest shocker: No contest here. It was Tiger Woods falling from grace in stunning, messy, nasty tabloid-like fashion. It all began with a National Enquirer story that accused Tiger of flying a New York city hostess to Australia for a tryst. Then there was the suspicious early morning one-car accident just outside Tiger's Orlando home. Then we were then plunged into a weeks-long salacious scandal. Woods has dropped out of sight after announcing he was taking an "indefinite leave" from golf ( Tiger with His Women ). His wife, Elin, has bought a mansion on an island in Sweden, and People Magazine is reporting that she will leave her husband. Accenture cut ties with Woods, and other sponsors seem to be questioning their relationship with him. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour and its players are left to wonder what impact his indefinite absence will have on their future.

Most amazing shot: Tiger's chip-in at the 16th in the '05 Masters, when his ball rolled past the cup, changed directions and rolled back the other way, barely toppling in at the end.
Biggest one-hit wonder: Stanford alum Hilary Lunke, who beat Angela Stanford and Kelly Robbins in a playoff at the 2003 U.S. Women's Open. It was not only Lunke's only win and her only top-35 finish in a women's major, it was her only top-10 finish in any LPGA event, ever.

Loudest tear-inducing ovation: When Ireland's Darren Clarke walked to the first tee for Friday morning's 2006 Ryder Cup matches at the K Club in his home country, just weeks after his wife passed away from cancer, the roar was like nothing ever heard before in golf — not the Masters, not the 16th hole in Phoenix, not the New Yorkers at the Bethpage People's Open.
Best gender barrier-breaking event: Lorena Ochoa, the top player in women's golf, won the 2007 Women's British Open at St. Andrews, the first women's event held at the Old Course, which is the home of the male-only R&A. It was Ochoa's first major championship, making her the first player since Tony Lema in 1964 to win that first career major at the Old Course. "Being at St. Andrews to make history — there's no more to say," a happy Ochoa said.

Most famous footwear: Annika Sorenstam won the 2002 Nabisco Championship wearing Dorothy-like ruby red slippers. Sorenstam said she almost changed shoes at the turn the first day because every time she looked down to putt, "they were distracting."

Biggest upset: Y.E. Yang, a 37-year-old Korean and your 2009 Honda Classic champion, played in the PGA Championship's final-round pairing with Tiger Woods, who had a two-shot edge and had never lost a major championship that he led after 54 holes. Until now. Yang stared down Woods, hit the hybrid shot of his life to the 72nd green, won the PGA by three strokes and acquired lifetime superstar status as the first Asian-born golfer to win a major.

Most overrated player: Michelle Wie ( showed signs of progress on the LPGA tour this year, with her first win and stellar play in the Solheim Cup, but has any golfer gotten $10 million to turn pro and done less? She’s still only 20, however, and seems poised to become one of the LPGA's top players.

Where To Find The Best Manual Car Hire

When you are deciding to book your car hire you may want to consider hiring a manual car hire rather than an automatic transmission. If this is the case then you will need to make a specific request for manual car hire as a lot of the vehicles on offer these days are automatic. Make sure when you complete your request you read the small print carefully to ensure that you have ordered within the manual car hire options and not the automatic ones on offer.

When you have chosen your manual car on line payment can be made on line or on arrival in your destination. Manual car hire will require payment to be made in the local currency.

If you are not sure of the differences between a manual car and an automatic car then there are various positive differences to bear in mind. Manual car hire is so much more fuel efficient in these times of high fuel prices. A manual car could save you as much as 25% petrol consumption. Please bear in mind that fuel costs overseas will be in the local currency and that you can pay for your fuel in cash or Credit Card.

A manual car is also likely to drive faster and smoother enabling you to the cruise the roads with ease. You need to be aware if you are used to driving an automatic car that manual car hire will involve changing gears up and down when slowing down and accelerating but if it's a long time since you have driven a manual car then you may enjoy the experience of real driving again.

If you drive a manual car in the UK then do not be put off by changing to an automatic car rather than a manual car. It's easy to hire and drive an automatic car or a manual car when you are overseas as the roads are excellent and easy to navigate. The manual car hire companies who are based abroad will also assist you when you collect the vehicle if you need any assistance with planning your journey.

Manual car hire will include manual cars with all of the optional extras you might expect to have in an automatic car. Optional extras like air conditioning or a sun roof will be available in manual cars.

Also you can expect to find satellite navigation in manual cars as well as automatic cars so if you are concerned about driving overseas or in an area that you are not familiar and not knowing your route very well just ensure that you select manual car hire and look for the optional extra of satellite navigation. It might be offered as standard in some manual cars but check carefully if you would like this facility in your manual car hire.

There are so many models available in the manual car hire section which will range from 2 door small manual cars to the larger manual people carriers. The larger vehicles will probably be automatic transmission so check that a manual car is available if you specifically need a larger vehicle.

How to stall a fraudster?

Hi there,

I work in retail and a couple days ago, a customer wanted to buy a laptop with a fake credit card. From the transaction, I told her that the system was down so I could get a manual imprint of the card to cancel it and report it. It went through, so I called my manager who dealt with it and just returned the amount on the card. Is there a line I could use to tell the customer I'm calling the police without the customer knowing I'm calling them? Also, are there ways or tactics I could use stall the customer for as long as 5-15 mins?

Just get your manager involved, but make up a b.s. excuse, like 'I just need to grab my manager to override this,' and be as bubbly as possible. If its dealing with cash, i.e. a conterfeit, tell them that you need to get change (try to hold on to the bill if possible) from you manager (make sure he/she knows its fake or whatever).

FAITH HOPE LOVE AND GOOGLE

FAITH, HOPE, LOVE AND GOOGLE

A MODERN TALE OF THE GREAT VIRTUES

Larry R. Boller RRT, MBA

Two years ago, just a few days before Christmas, I got the call from my doctor following up on a routine test. He needed to see me. When I got there he told me that he had "found something he didn’t like." This led me to believe that I was going to like it even less. While doing an upper endoscopy (which looks at the esophagus and stomach) he had found areas that he thought might be cancer! Esophageal cancer had two characteristics: one, it was relatively rare so I would have to go somewhere else for treatment and two, it is usually fatal. At the same time, they also saw a shadow on my liver with a CT scan, but I knew that had been there for several years so it was probably nothing. So, over Christmas 2006 I awaited my appointment with the the Large Very Prestigious Medical Center with anxiety and denial, but also some sense of Hope.

I went to the Medical Center on January 3rd 2007 it was a terrible visit.  They told me I did have cancer; I did not want it. The main doctor they assigned to me had all the bedside manner of my shoes! After being seen by a team of doctors, they were in agreement that my only Hope lay in a complex operation.  The surgery they were talking about would open me from stem to stern and remove all of my esophagus and hook my stomach up with the back of the mouth they would also take a peek at that "shadow" on the liver--nothing guaranteed and not particularly pleasant, but certainly better than the alternative. Leaving that appointment, the only Hope appeared to be in the form of this surgery, which they reported would alter my lifestyle considerably.  But, with Faith in God, to whom I had assigned the role of "Case Manager," I agreed to have it two weeks hence.

I started my negotiations with God to see what could be arranged. Wasn’t there a simpler procedure? Should I not have the surgery and let nature take it’s course? Was he sure about this whole Heaven thing? Were my parents there waiting for me? Would I be able to watch my children and grandchildren? Did he realize that I was only 56 and that all of my grandparents, great grandparents and parents had died of heart disease… no cancer anywhere! While I knew better that to demand things I did ask for some consideration on these issues. It was the first in a series of conversations we would have--my Faith prodding me along toward Hope.

I went back to work, and at the urging of one of my coworkers, I called a staff meeting to let my staff hear the story directly from me. I must admit to being heartened by the outpouring of sentiment, hugs and words of encouragement. It was the first of many such outpourings until I had prayer chains, whole churches, fellow Catholics, Christians, Jews and one Muslim praying for me. I could feel a ball of energy surrounding me I am sure it was the power and goodness of the Spirit. St. Paul clearly new what he was talking about--Love truly is the greatest of the virtues.

  1. They  simply “Opened and Closed” me, which usually is a bad sign. They told me and my wife (who actually could remember, I was lost it in the haze) that I would likely be dead in six months.

My wife, an RN, and I have both been in healthcare for 42 years each and have always tried to act as extensions of His Healing Hands. While we prepared for what the Medical Center had told us, we had the Hope to keep looking. We knew lots of people who knew people and with the guidance of the Spirit we reached out, there were people searching the entire country and Internet for ideas and innovations. We looked into chemotherapy for the “inoperable tumor of the liver.”  The Medical Center had one cocktail that had maybe a 5% chance of working. That did not seem like something to loose all your hair and most of your meals for, so I decided to pass on that bit of fun.

When we got back home, Hope took over and we talked with friends and realized that as long as my doctors were sure that the two tumors were related they would not treat it because this had it classified as "terminal Stage IV cancer of the esophagus with metastatic disease to the liver."  On the other hand I was convinced because of timing issues that they were two different cancers. In most cases, this would be unlikely, but if I could prove it then the standards of care would prompt independent and aggressive treatment as two Stage 1’s.

To attempt to get this clarification we had the pathology slides sent two places that were sufficient in stature that the Medical Center folks would listen, should they disagree. The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology said that they really could not see a difference in the tissue, but also conceded that they did not have to be the same. Secondly, the expert in the pathology of liver cancer is at the University of Minnesota. I called him and he agreed to look.  I was in Disney World… a place where "Dreams Really Do Come True"...when this Professor of Medicine called me. He told me that based on his review of not only the slides but the medical history I supplied, had him convinced that they were likely two separate cancers. This report along with a letter from me went back to Medical Center.

Over the next 20 months I underwent many innovative treatments. For a while I was having a procedure every month, none of them as radical as the originally planed surgery but not a lot of fun either.

With all of the prayers coming in, apparently the Spirit decided to somehow direct my communications in two directions the first to a fellow who I had met when he did an ultrasound procedure on the esophagus. At that time, I did not know he was one of only four people in the world who used a combination of tools to peel, cut and burn the cancer away from the very fragile inner wall of the esophagus.  A little bit at a time, for the past eighteen months now, he has been peeling, cutting, using radiowaves and electric current to destroy my esophageal cancer.  As of now he has it all gone. I have to go for five years until they can say it is a cure.

The Google system must have been burning up with requests for “inoperable liver tumor” so many of may family and friends were working on this and found many results.  I had Hope that someone somewhere would be able to do something. I found about four treatments that seemed reasonable, working with my wife and friends we narrowed it down to a first choice something called CyberKnife. We contacted two places that had this new robotic radiation surgery system one that uses a very fine beam of radiation controlled by a robot to destroy the tumor. Within a very short time we heard from one that my tumor was too big. The second, who must have gotten the memo from the Spirit, said they wanted to see me.

I believe that my discussions with the Father, Jesus, and Mary and guidance of the Holy Spirit have given me & my family the fortitude needed to get through this and to have the positive outcomes that we have had so far. I have had at least eighteen more months with my loving and supportive family. I have learned that if you give Love and are Loved, Faith and Hope will follow.

And in the End the Love you take is equal to the Love you make” -Lennon/McCartney

Returning to Work As a Professional Woman

Women who have been away from the work scene for a while face specific professional issues. While these issues can initially seem insurmountable and possibly frightening, if handled well you can get yourself back on track with a successful career. All it takes is a little preparation.

Some of the specific issues facing professional women returning to work after a long break relate to explaining with self-confidence what they have been doing, and catching up with changes in their chosen profession.

It really doesn't matter what you have been doing since you left professional life, whether it be having a family, looking after a family member, or just needing a break. Here are a few tips on things you can do to get ready to come back with the best possible outlook.

Get Your Resume Updated

Many professional women feel daunted by this task. How do you explain what you have been doing since leaving your profession? The answer is to concentrate on any transferable skills you have developed along the way. If your break from work was to have children think about the creative thinking skills you have developed. If you were looking after an elderly parent, consider the skills you may have developed in empathy and patience and dealing with difficult personalities. These things are all relevant.

Update what is going on in your professional field

Spend some time researching the latest developments in your company, or in the particular field you work in. Have there been major changes in policies, someone in the news or anything else you can get hold of? You may be able to get in touch with old colleagues or use the internet to find out these things.

Get back to your network

Get in touch with any people from your network and let them know you are 'back in town'. Networking with people from your past can be invaluable in helping you get back in the workforce. If you didn't have a network, start building one now! Professional women networks like The National Association of Professional Women can be a great place to start networking and finding resources.

Brush up on Interviewing Skills and Techniques

Practice your interview techniques so you are ready for anything. Of course no one will forget the basics of being on time, not coming in with a coffee in hand, making eye contact, having questions ready and knowing about the company and dressing well. If you really aren't sure what to do for an interview ask friends to help you and research interviewing skills.

Take a refresher course if you need to

This is by no means a necessity but some professional women find it useful to brush up on their skills and what is going on in the business through a quick refresher course. It is also something else you can add to your resume.

Getting back into the workforce can be both frightening and exciting. Finding professional women who are in the same position as you or who can help you on your journey is an excellent idea. Trust in your self and the skills you know you have then get out there and market yourself!

I am nearly 40 and I dont know what it means to be or feel "sexy". Any thoughts?

I used to know what I *thought* "sexy" meant when I was in my teens and 20s: being pretty or beautiful; dressing in sexy clothes; being desired by men.

But in my late 20s I got married, and all that angst about whether I was sexy or not disappeared. I was comfortable for the first time. I also got on my career track and have spent the last 20 years doing that. I decided long ago not to have children, and am content with my husband, as well as his, my and our friends, plus our cats.

I have always been overweight, but I have never been inhibited or sexually dysfunctional, so that is not a problem. I just think of myself in deeper, more complex terms, and always have. I am a Renaissance woman. I am well-educated, well-read, well-spoken, a respected professional in my field, and I am an avid hobbyist.

How do other women who are in their 30s, 40s and older think of themselves? Is being sexy important or not? Or do you have other thoughts? Thanks and cheers, K

I'm 52, and likewise overweight. That being said, I do definitely think of myself as sexy. It's not the ONLY part of my make-up or personality, by any means, but it's a part that I wouldn't to lose. I value my sexuality just as I value my ability to program a computer, or sew a dress, or raise a garden, or play the piano, or work my ham radio. They're all part of me, and they're all important to me.

I think that you have to decide how important feeling "sexy" is to you. I don't think that being sexy precludes you from being smart, or talented, or complex - it's just one part of the complex person that is you.

I don't think being a certain weight makes you "un-sexy" any more than being thin automatically makes you sexy. That's a lot more about the way you behave, and carry yourself, and a dozen other factors, than about what numbers pop up on the bathroom scale!

It really IS better, the older you get!!! :-)
