Iii Regular

Hopefully, if you read my last article I got you thinking. Thinking about different ways to train, not necessarily using machines, but using your entire body with each exercise. We talked about the changes exercise science has brought about and the risks of continuing to train the way we currently do. Our bodies, as I alluded to, were not designed to be cramped into a one size fits all machine and forced to move in a specific pattern. That pattern unfortunately is single jointed, and those of us in the know understand that even putting food in your mouth requires 3 major and around 24 smaller joints. We need to train the same way that our body was designed to operate.
Back exercise is one of the scariest groups of improper exercise concepts that I know of. To fully understand the back is way beyond the scope of this article. The 'back' is considered the Thoracic and Lumbar Spine and all the supporting muscles. Some of these muscles are global, meaning they assist with movement of the trunk / torso. Some are stabilizers, meaning they aid in keeping the spinal joints in the proper alignment. Many of the muscles act as synergists, they help other muscles do their job. Many of the back muscles have numerous tasks. The Latissimus Dorsi or lat, for example is the only muscle in the body that has direct attachment on the shoulder and pelvis. Many of the thoracic or middle back muscles cross the thoracic and lumbar spines and attach into the pelvis and sacrum.
The eminent researcher Professor Stuart McGiIl states, "Evidence from tissue-specific injury generally supports the notion of a neutral spine (neutral lordosis) when performing loading tasks to minimize the risk of low back injury."
The spinal column, devoid of its musculature, has been found to buckle at a load of only 90 newtons (about 20 pounds) at LS.3,4 However, during routine activities, loads 20 times greater are encountered on a regular basis. Panjabi says, "This large load-carrying capacity is achieved by the participation of well coordinated muscles surrounding the spinal column."1 Spine stability is greatly enhanced by co-contraction of antagonistic trunk muscles (e.g., abdominal and extensor muscles). Co-contractions increase spinal compressive load, as much as 12% to 18%, or 44ON, but they increase spinal stability even more by 36% to 64%, or 2,925N.6 But when load is at a minimum, such as when the body is relaxed or a task is trivial, the motor control system is often "caught off guard" and injuries are precipitated.
Low back injury has been shown to result from repetitive motion at end range: According to McGiIl, it is usually a result of "a history of excessive loading which gradually, but progressively, reduces the tissue failure tolerance."
What the research shows is actually simple, we continually load our body, in faulty posture, to the end range of movement. This increases the forces on the spinal joints by hundreds of pounds. Over time the joints become so repetitively overstrained and damaged that injury from a trivial task is inevitable.
So what exercises help or hurt the back? The first thing to understand is that the paraspinal muscles are dominated by slow twitch muscle fibers which means there is no need to work extensor muscles for strength, rather focus on endurance or time under tension. This equates to stabilization type exercises for back strength, not thousands of repetitions of back extensions on various types of equipment. (spine 93) Try performing quadraped opposite arm and leg extension exercises, vary your hold times to target the paraspinal muscles. Add planks and side planks into your routine, but remember to always fire the glutes and maintain neutral spine. To strengthen the back, focus on always maintaining proper abdominal bracing and a lordotic lifting posture. This means that the best way to strengthen your back and abs for that matter is to change how you think. Every exercise you do is now a back and abdominal exercise. Perform your rows standing or sitting on a ball, keep your abs braced, head up, knees bent and shoulders back. For that matter, always keep the abs braced and the back flat, never round or hunch your shoulders. Do not lean back with the exercise, proper abdominal contraction will counter any extension moment and protect the back while strengthening the abs. Unfortunately the commercially made machines 'designed' to strengthen the back actually place repetitive stresses on the spine and disks while encouraging hyperextension. The best way to achieve a strong back is to build strong abs and lumbar muscles with high endurance and coordination. The back was never designed to be strong, it was designed to have high muscular endurance and lots of help from the abdominal wall and hips.

Beware of Counterfeit Brands
Nobody likes to get scammed but unfortunately more and more people are getting ripped off by sellers of counterfeit products. It hurts the consumer, the legitimate retailer, the manufacture, and the employees.
Not only does the consumer end up with an inferior product for their money but in the process they are unwittingly supporting the criminal activity which is behind the counterfeiting.
“By knowingly selling or buying counterfeit products you are actually participating in theft – theft from the legitimate manufacturer and the people whose livelihoods depend on the legitimate manufacturing.”
Buying counterfeits also hurts your local retailer.
Local retailers have invested heavily to establish their store and worked hard to provide legitimate products and a convenient shopping outlet for you in your community. Their store puts money back into the local economy by employing local people and services.
For example, in order for SinStyle, (an online clothing store with a physical bricks and mortar store in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada) to provide top name designer jeans and clothing, they had to first prove to the designer’s fashion house that they have a legitimate business capable of professionally representing their brands to the public. Fashion Houses will often only allow a certain number of approved stores in any city to carry their products. They will then work closely with those qualified stores to distribute their particular brand of goods to the consumer.
How do you know whether an item is genuine or counterfeit?
Fashion Houses will never sell their goods directly to individuals to compete against their approved suppliers. That is one way to know whether a product is a genuine brand or a black market fake (or a stolen item). If someone claims to be selling the ‘real deal’ from the back of their van or from their garage or from home parties, you can bet the source of these items is from some form of organized crime.
That means in the rare instances when the products are genuine, they have probably been stolen, and if they are not genuine, they definitely come from a criminal source. Sometimes the people selling these products through home parties don’t even realize they are involved in a criminal enterprise, but they are in fact open to prosecution and at the very least may have their inventory seized. To the authorities this isn’t viewed as just a petty crime because it is in fact part of a large criminal distribution network which steals millions of dollars every year from legitimate businesses and the economy. It is part of a serious criminal activity that makes huge profits for criminals and in some cases provides a source of funds for terrorist groups.

i have a $100 bill is it real or counterfeit?
it has red stains at the top and bottom and yes you can see benjamin franklin when you hold it up to the light.
im just making sure so that i dont get in trouble when i try to use it and its fake.
Take it to the bank and ask them to swipe it with the yellow marker used to determine if the bill is real or fake. You can also ask a clerk at a local store to do the same. Just don't try to purchase something with it before verifying.

Pos Software Guide
In this article you will find information regarding the pos software, how it works and how to buy the right one.
To have a better understanding of POS software, one must first get familiar with the concept of POS. POS stands for point-of-sale or point-of-service, which can mean anything from a retail shop, checkout counter, basically any location at which a transaction occurs. Considering all that, it's not hard to see why pos terminals can be found in restaurants, hotels, bars, shops, stores, malls. To be completely accurate, we can say that POS refers to the hardware and software which cashiers use for checkouts.
When we consider a Pos System, it has to be divided into hardware and software. Since this article is focused on the software part of it, let's examine the history of pos software. Some of the early electronic Cash Registers had a special computer program loaded on them, providing additional functionalities, although quite limited according to our standards nowadays. Programmability made way for a lot of new concepts, as it allowed developers to be more creative and embed whatever features they can think of, includingreal time labor and food cost reports.
A protocol is a predefined set of rules which computers follow when engaged in communication with one another. POS terminals communicate with other devices (peripherals) using a given protocol, so we can say that the protocol is the language that computers speak. Every pos software comes with a support of a certain protocol, so that it can succesfully interact with peripheral devices, such as Pos Printer, a bar-Code Scanner, and a credit/debit Card Reader. Some of the popular POS communication command protocols are EPSON Esc/POS, ADM 787/788, DSP-800, CD 5220.
In an attempt to guarantee the compatibility between the different devices, pos software developers have to meet certain standards. Microsoft, NCR, Epson, and Fujitsu-ICL developed the first pos software standard, called OPOS. People know it as "OLE for POS", because it's based on Microsoft's COM technology, which makes OPOS language independent. The next industry standards was made by SUN, IBM and NCR, under the name JavaPOS. JavaPOS is programmed on JAVA, so it's platform independent.
The high-quality pos software can provide several benefits to your business. First of all, it will increase your profits. Second, it will lower the inventory costs. It will improve customer service. Automate repetitive tasks, maximizing efficiency by at least 20%.
If you just consider for a minute all the places where you can find pos terminals - all the stores in the country, then you will easily see that there is a huge competition in the pos software industry, there are a lot of products available on the market. Choosing the right one is never easy, but there several factors to consider before buying. First of all, take into account the turnover of your business, whether it's $1000 or $100,000, it all makes a difference. The second important factor is the industry in which your business operates, it could be a grocery store, or a sports store, car dealer shop, appliances. Bear in mind that they best way to find out if a given software is bug-free and stable, is to check with the retailers who are already using it.
The majority of POS software solutions are designed to operate on Windows. Linux and MAC machines are probably more reliable, but you will get a much more limited amount of choices in terms of software available for such UNIX based operating systems. When configured properly, Windows systems can work for months and even years without any intervention. POS software can support Windows 95, 2000, or XP, although some will only work on XP.

I need a Parallel adapter with a 28-pin connector. Anyone know where to find it?
I can't get support from NCR. I have an NCR 7454 POS system that requires a parallel CDROM drive to install an OS, according to the manual. I have a parallel CDROM drive but the parallel port on the drive is the typical DB25 connection. The POS system has a 28 pin connector and is much smaller in physical size than the typical 25 pin ports on most every other computer. I can't find any cables or adapters to allow me to connect the two devices together. Any help would be appreciated.
you can do a google search on it and it may give you links to stores, or try circuit city, best buy they may have such things, or you can get a parrell to Usb Cable as well , they do exist even walmart at one time had those.

Money laundering and counterfeiting by terrorist and drug traffickers
By Michael Webster: Syndicated Investigative Reporter. April 30, 2009 at 9:30 AM PST
Global terrorist organizations are teaching the Mexican Drug Cartels (MDC) new ways to launder their millions of dollars of drug money profits.
For years terrorist used systems of honor among themselves and would transfer money in person hand to hand the same way Muslims have been doing it for centuries. It is very hard that way to detect and it leaves no paper trail.
For a short while when expensive new color copiers first come onto the since the terrorist copied money very well, these new machines could copy money so well it was hard to detect. So the feds made the manufactures develop and install new detection devices that when money was placed on the bed of the copier it would shut down or alarms would go off or both.
Before the copy machines, PC’s and printers, counterfeiting was a difficult and expensive endeavor. You had to have money and lots of it to get started because it required large expensive printing presses and the talent and ability (rare) to cut intricate designs by hand into metal plates. But today as I write this it is much easier to create counterfeit bills and launder them by having several people pass them off to product and service providers. As thousands of teenagers have discovered so have the terrorist and now the MDC’s. You can now create fake money with a PC, a scanner and a color inkjet printer in about 10 minutes.
The terrorist barrowed from the American CIA the system they have used successfully for decades and the CIA are still using today. Which is investing in new start up business and expanding legal existing businesses than deposit the cash into those company bank accounts and transfer the money to offshore banks that they control? Money laundering happens in almost every country in the world, and a single scheme typically involves transferring money through several countries in order to obscure its origins
However that you can not do anymore as the U.S. and UK governments have persuaded off shore havens and jurisdictions to sign new treaties that forbid that way of banking and made it illegal to not report even the attempt to the American authorities. As a result the global financial systems now play a major role in most high-level laundering schemes, the international community is fighting money laundering through various means, including the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).
So now they are coming up with new ideas and ways to launder huge amounts of cash.
Money laundering, at its simplest, is the act of making money that comes from Source a look like it comes from Source B. In practice, criminals are trying to disguise the origins of money obtained through illegal activities so it looks like it was obtained from legal sources. Otherwise, they can't use the money because it would connect them to the criminal activity, and law-enforcement officials would seize it.
Money laundering is a crucial step in the success of drug trafficking and terrorist activities
An assessment by the U.S. Department of Justice National Drug Intelligence Center regarding Prepaid Store Value Cards reported that the cards provide an ideal money laundering instrument to anonymously move money without fear of identification or seizure.
The El Universal newspaper in Mexico City today 4/28/09 reported that what they refer to as narcotraffickers (MDC’s) are using prepaid value cards to send money from the US to Mexico because this financial instrument is not subject to the usual measures against money laundering, according to Arizona state Attorney General Terry Goddard. ”This is something that is happening on our border, cards that are being provided by a few financial institutions, not major banks, but those that operate at a lower level,” he said during an interview. The Prepaid Store Value Cards (as they are called in the US) are not defined as “monetary instruments” for money laundering and narcotrafficers is taking advantage of that, knowing that the cards will not be inspected at the border. All who cross the border from the US to Mexico must declare if they are transporting more than $10,000 in cash? Such people can carry more than a million dollars in value cards and are not required to declare it because they are not breaking any law, Goddard emphasized. In his opinion, the cards should be inspected at the border and the amount contained in them deciphered electronically. If the cards could be regulated, it would be another blow to smugglers and narcotrafficers. ”This money is the fuel that is feeding the violence,” he said.
Arturo Mendicuti, president of the Chamber of Commerce Services and Tourism of Mexico City reported 777 million peso [56 million US] per day loss in the city’s businesses. Hotel occupancy is the lowest in the past 16 years, between 5 and 10 percent. The decline is now mainly attributed to the flu epidemic scare but many believe the war on drugs going on in Mexico is also a big contributor. Restaurants are now can only take order for food as to go orders that is to say the customer can not eat the meal at the restaurant but can only come and pick it up.
New American money has high-tech counterfeit-proof bills so the U.S. Treasury claims. It first entered circulation in late 2003. Yes, it is detectable but million of dollars worth of counterfeit bills are still being passed on a daily bases.
It is true should you have real good eyes or a microscope and if you zoom in on different areas of the bill and look at them closely, in good light you can see a number of features designed to deter "casual counterfeiting." But who do you know who does that? Most passing of those bills happen in dark places like bars and other like type places. There are Detector Pens and roll over detectors but few retailers use them.
The amount of Counterfeit Money being passed daily by the terrorist and the drug dealers is not known but it is believed to be astronomical. And remember the really perfect counterfeit bills are never detected.

Call the police and tell them where you received it. If you use it, you can charged with issuing counterfeit money. (Even if you didn't know!).
Unless you got it from a bank (it does happen) i think you're s.o.l.

Counterfeit Money

A History of Money and Banking Secrets That Banks Don't Want Published
This is a history of money and the reason a Federal Reserve Note isn't backed by gold or silver anymore. You will learn unforgettable information about money, debt and where banks get the money to fund your Credit Card or loan.
A History of Money and Trade
To start with a history of money and debt, we must go back many years ago when people used to trade their wares for the things they wanted and needed.
In place of money or Federal Reserve Notes, you could trade a well made pistol for a cow, which you could eat or trade a remainder of for other items like clothing.
It didn't take long for people to realize there needed to be a more efficient means of trade. If you were a farmer, it was too difficult to carry baskets of fresh corn around to trade for a new horse. And, the person selling the horse might not want any corn at all.
A History of Money and Gold
So, people used gold for Cash Money, which always had a stable value, to trade for the items they wanted and needed. This way the horse dealer could always trade the gold received from the farmer for the clothing he really wanted instead of having to take the corn.
In a history of money and gold, this only posed one problem. Gold was very heavy to carry and hard to conceal. In the beginning of our banking history what people would do is leave their gold with a goldsmith.
The goldsmith would then give them a note, or paper money, that stated how much gold they had on deposit with the goldsmith (bank).
The farmer could then take this paper money note, say worth $50 to the horse dealer and buy a horse with it. The horse dealer could then spend this $50 paper note or go back to the goldsmith to pick up the $50 of gold that he had just acquired by selling the horse to the farmer.
Well, why would the horse dealer want to trade in the cash money note for the heavy gold, when he just wanted to trade it for clothing and food anyway. So, the note would continue to trade hands and very few people would ever go redeem it for the gold it was backed by.
It didn't take long for the goldsmith to understand this reality. So, here he is storing all of this gold for other people. Let's give it a value to make this next principle clear.
Let's say the gold he is storing is valued at $1,000 and there are $1,000 in real cash money notes backed by this real gold being circulated.
A History of Money and Loans
When many people wanted a loan for say a total of $1,000, he decided no one would notice and it would be real easy to lend them someone else's gold, well actually a funny money note which was a promise to pay gold upon redemption of the note. And, he'd only charge 10% interest.
In a history of money and loans, this caused another problem. If everyone came in to redeem their notes, there would not be enough gold to pay back everyone because there was only $1,000 in real cash money notes backed by REAL gold.
hat didn't matter to him, why not lend out to anyone who looks like they can repay? And, that year he lent out a total of $10,000 worth of newly created or you could say counterfeit, funny money notes. Oh well, who cares says the goldsmith, no one is coming in to get their gold anyway.
So, now there is $1,000 in real cash money notes backed by REAL gold, and $10,000 in funny money loans, thus $11,000 in total notes circulating. The goldsmith is charging his 10% or $1,000 per year of interest and don't forget every penny of the original counterfeited principal is his to keep. For simplicity, lets say he now stops lending!
A History of Money and Inflation
Lets look at what this causes. There is now ten times as much currency/notes floating around then there is real gold to back it. This causes the value of the original $1,000 to loose 90% of its value. Therefore to buy a horse now, it would cost $500. Thus, a history of money and INFLATION.
Everyone now has way more money then they did the year before, they feel rich. There are still the same amounts of products and services being sold, just a lot more dollars to bid for them, thus most prices go way up. This is called a boom.
Now the next thing this causes is for the $1,000 of interest and any portion paid to the principal of these loans to go directly into the goldsmith's pocket. Let's say over the course of the first year, the borrowers paid back $1,000 worth of principal and $1,000 in interest.
This means there is still $1,000 of real cash money notes backed by REAL gold. $9,000 in funny money loans outstanding, $9,000 in total notes circulating and the goldsmith has pocketed $2,000.
So, the goldsmith is now up $2,000 out of thin air, and there is now $9,000 in notes circulating which needs to pay back $9,000 owing. And the cost of everything has gone up ten fold. Now lets move forward another year.
Let's say over the course of the second year, the borrowers paid back $1,100 worth of principal and $900 in interest. There is still only $1,000 in notes backed by REAL gold. $7,900 in loans outstanding, $7,000 in total notes circulating and the goldsmith has pocketed another $2,000, totaling $4,000 thus far.
Let's say over the course of the third year, the borrowers paid back $1,200 worth of principal and $800 in interest. There is still only $1,000 in notes backed by REAL gold. $6,700 in loans outstanding, $5,000 in total notes circulating and the goldsmith has pocketed another $2,000, totaling $6,000 thus far.
A History of Money and Recession
People tighten up their spending for no apparent reason, but it is soley because there are less notes in circulation. So, prices start to fall. Businesses can't survive with the lower incomes, so they lay people off, thus giving even fewer people money to spend. And, now we have the beginning of a history of money and RECESSION.
Year four, the borrowers paid back $1,300 worth of principal and $700 in interest. There is still only $1,000 in notes backed by REAL gold. $5,400 in loans outstanding, $3,000 in total notes circulating and the goldsmith has pocketed another $2,000, totaling $8,000 thus far.
Year five, the borrowers paid back $1,400 worth of principal and $600 in interest. There is still only $1,000 in gold. $4,000 in loans outstanding, $1,000 in total notes circulating and the goldsmith has pocketed another $2,000, totaling $10,000 thus far, but $4,000 is still owed.
With only $1,000 in total notes circulating, people obviously cannot continue to pay, so there is one thing left and that is the confiscation of their assets, and the remaining $1,000 in total notes circulating. Can you say BANKRUPTCY. (which is now almost impossible)
A History of Money and the FED
Oh, I know says the goldsmith, I'll just have to keep lending this counterfeit money backed by nothing so they can work hard for me for free, and I will own every asset on this planet for free. So the goldsmith starts to lend out money again and lends out $10,000 the first year which again causes the BOOM. And, on and on it goes.
The only difference today is that there is no limit to the lending, so there's continual money being created which forces us to fight each other to get our hands on it, to pay back our own share of debt, while the price of everything skyrockets endlessly.
And, the goldsmith's are now called the Federal Reserve System and the funny money counterfeit notes are called Federal Reserve Notes. In the 1930's there was roughly $16 Billion in gold at Fort Knox, and now we owe $8,339,711,774,335.
About the Author
Mark Cella, Economist, Founder and CEO of the Federal Debt Relief System. So, then I ask you fellow American, is this what you thought was going on when you borrowed from Capital One or Providian? I doubt it. So, click here and lets put an end to a history of money and debt that banks never wanted us to find out about.
Is it sound economic policy for bush to be flooding the US with massive amounts of counterfeit money?
Can he really prevent his seven-year recession from sliding into a full-blown depression in his last year using this dishonest tactic?
It doesn't appear to be propping up the faltering stock market any. All it has done is devalue the dollar to historic lows. If bush continues to print even more funny money in a desperate attempt to fix the economy, will the US experience the kind of nation-wrecking hyperinflation that Germany did in the 1920's?
It's not Bush doing this, but international bankers like the Rothschilds and the Bildenbergs and the Rockerfellers. Bush is a foot soldier and takes order from them via Cheney.
Of course the money infusion will deflate the dollar even more, which is probably what they want. Their intention is to destroy the US.
