Where exactly is the Motel 6 Santa Fe Springs,California?
According to my map,the Motel 6 Santa Fe Springs is located where the cities of Norwalk and Cerritos meet and is on the Cerritos side of Excelsior Avenue.
When you call the Motel 6 Santa Fe Springs directly your phone bill will show Norwalk.
Except for Carmenita Truck Center and the Jack in the Box restaurant,everything else has the address in Norwalk. I'm confused. Thank you in advance.
It's actually north of the Santa Ana freeway (Interstate 5) on Carmenita. I travel occasionally through Santa Fe Springs (Ecology Auto Wrecking) and yes both Norwalk and Santa Fe Springs have confusing city limits or zones. They actually look like a jigsaw puzzle on a Thomas Brothers or any road map. The southside of Excelsior and close to where it deadends with Marquardt is in Santa Fe Springs.

The spirit of the Hilton Head Blue Lady roams the Island in a Victorian era blue dress -- a recurring example of paranormal activity on the Island. In 1898, a young woman named Caroline lost her life to a hurricane off the east coast.

Residents of Harbour Town and environs are no strangers to this story of paranormal activity and haunted places. It is one of the true scary stories associated with Hilton Head Island. In spite of all of the recent modernization, the island has an abundance of ghost stories.
Lovers' Lane
Just by the Leamington area in Palmetto Dunes, down a winding dirt road, there once stood a lighthouse and its accessory keeper's house. Both houses were abandoned by the United States Light Service when the light was automated. But one of the inhabitants never left.
It was a balmy summer evening. In search of a secluded spot for some private romance, a young couple pointed their car down the old access road, long deserted. What they encountered instead was paranormal activity in the person of the Blue Lady. As the couple embraced in their car the moon rose seductively over the Atlantic. The balmy night air and sound of the waves hitting the beach had a mesmerizing effect.
Suddenly they saw it. A chill ran down their spine when a soft, bluish light caught their eye. Transfixed they watched it floating through the light keeper's house behind darkened windows. Suddenly the glowing figure appeared on the front porch of the old house and gazed at them with mournful eyes. The figure of a young woman was adorned in a beautiful Victorian dress. It was exactly like the dress that Caroline Fripp was said to have worn the night of her death in the hurricane of 1898.
All thought of romance now vanished and the couple quickly retreated from the scene leaving the haunted house in their rear view mirror. Next day they reported to their parents and not long after a small group of adults decided to check out the lighthouse for themselves. They didn't have to wait long before the Hilton Head Blue Lady materialized, just as the youngsters had reported.
Today the location at Palmetto Dunes has been transformed by a world famous Golf Course and the haunted house has been relocated to Harbour Town near CQ's Restaurant. The stories of these haunted places associated with the Hilton Head Blue Lady have several variations. There are reports of sobbing and some claim to have sensed her presence. But many believe the Blue Lady has been laid to rest and paranormal activity ceased since the haunted house was moved.

The East Coast Has a Favorite Beach Resort - Timeshares in Ocean City, Maryland
Ocean City is a long peninsula along the coast. It provides the only sea coast in Maryland. Stretching three miles long, the boardwalk begins at the south tip of the peninsula and runs almost all the way to 28th Street. It borders the beach, a place where the Army Corp of Engineers are always replenishing the sand. Sand erosion is a significant concern in a beach resort area such as Ocean City. The boardwalk helps keep people off the sand and this helps with the erosion issues. The boardwalk also now has a companion, a concrete walkway running alongside it. This is used by bicycles, baby-strollers, and wheelchair users.
All along the boardwalk you’ll find souvenir shops, small bars, places to eat, and street performers. If you want to be a hip insider, make sure you know about Thrasher’s Fries, Bull-on-the-Beach, Kohr’s Ice Cream and Tony’s Pizza. There are also several bike rental shops so if you didn’t bring a bike you can still enjoy an early morning ride along the beach.

has anyone ever purchased a timeshare package from them where you have to sit through a 2 hour thing and you get 3 nights stay at a holiday inn and disney tickets? is there any catch? we are going valentines weekend and dont want to be stuck with any charges or things
we go on feb 13th and our presentation is not until the 15th which is the day before we leave they told me i would get our 3 night hotel stay and disney tickets when we check in which will be the 13th so really im getting my stuff before i even go i am not easy to pursuade so ill be good at saying no
The 2 hour thing is a sales presentation… that is the catch. Frankly you'll be lucky if it is only 2 hours. You will be bombarded with their top sales team. They will do and tell you anything to sell you a timeshare that day. The 3 nights is great, but if you find yourself interested in buying one check out the resale market first. You will not only save yourself thousands of dollars, but you will save a lot of time since you can shop and buy timeshares on the internet. We are planning a vacation to grand cayman in November and looking for information so I thought I would post on Y/A. I know the island was hit by a major hurricane 3 years ago. Has it recovered yet? Also, we are considering staying at Seven Mile Beach and wondering if this is a good choice? We are also looking for information about cell service. Do Sprint or cingular cell phones work there? Any comments about the above questions or any other thoughts from recent Cayman travelers would be appreciated!
Well, I have been there several times...It is infested with tourist...Shoulder to shoulder when several ships are in port.
You should be fine away from the port area.
Yes, Cingular will work. They have an office there on main. You can get a 30 day overseas option for a few bucks....
